The miracle couldn't be made!

I couldn't hold any more, I must sleep early tonight. I firstly asked a question. Why do the finals of some important sport events always held on Sunday? I secondly stated one thing, if watched those wonderful sport games in a country which was in a different time zone, and had a few hours different, it's really painful for those people.

I was the person who really loved the tennis (the grand slam champion), and who had been living in Sydney Australia. So, it meant I had to watch the Wimbledon Open at 11.00pm yesterday, while it's only the afternoon in UK. Could you image? It's winter time in Sydney, and I was watching the tennis at the mid night. The main point was that I had to go to work next day. If you thought that it was not bad enough, now I let me tell you a worse one. The Men's Single final of Wimbledon Open had been held in Wimbledon Uk, and the starting time of the final was delayed by its so stupid weather, it finally began at 11.30pm Sydney time. You know, the really opening time was 10.30pm Sydney time.

If you still thought it's not bad enough, okay, let me tell say one more. About at 2.00am this morning, the final was disturbed by the stupid weather again. And I was waiting for about 40 minutes, I was so sleepy and couldn't hold any more. I decided to give it up, I was not sure when the final could re start again, just went to sleep. So, I didn't sleep until a quarter to 3 o'clock.

Sleeping time was always the best time for me. I had to get up at 8.30 am, to avoid late for work. When I just arrive there, my co league told me that she didn't sleep last night and came to work after watching the final. Oh my god! From her, I knew Rafeal Nadal finally beaten King Roger Federer and got his first Wimbledon champion title. This final was finished at 6.00am o'clock this morning. I was happy for Nadal, because of his winning. I actually both of them, but just because Federer got so many champion titles, especially the 5 consecutive Wimbledon Open. So, I thought it's a happy ending.

After the complaint, I wanted to review this Wimbledon from two Men's semi-final to two finals. The first Men's semi-final was Merit Safin VS Roger Federer. It became a competition without any doubts. Because Federer must win, no reasons at all, I always trust. Another Men's semi-final was Rafeal Nadal VS Schuttler, Nadal was easily to win the first set, which only spent 23 minutes, but I hadn't watched all the game, because it's too late, I didn't sleep until more than 1.00am. This had happened in last Friday night.

The Women's final had held at Saturday's night between the Williams sisters, Serena Williams VS Venus Williams. To be honest, I didn't like this final, there wouldn't be no doubt, no matter who won, it's the honor for the Williams family. My favourite player didn't enter the final, she was Maria Sharapova. The little sister Sarina got the champion.

Till the final, it's really an eventful final. In the first and second set, Nadal broke Federer's two serves, so that it's 2:0, Nadal was advantage. However, due to the weather, two players got time to have a rest. In the third and forth set, Federer made the score 2:2. The fifth set was so wonderful, they all wanted to won, but the winner was always one, finally, Nadal beated Federer 9:7 in the last set, and got the final champion.

There was a bit unfortunate, Federer couldn't make the miracle, he couldn't get the 6 consecutive Wimbledon championship. It's doesn't matter he was already changing the history. I wished all my favourite player goo luck in the US open in the September. If Nadal and Federer met each other again, I hoped that they could bring an amazing game again. By the way, the weather should be very fine. I was still wondering why the stadium staff couldn't close the ceiling, it could be closed, they were as stupid as the weather. I love tennis.

The final of EURO CUP 2008!

I got up at 4.30 am this morning, it's my really first time to get up so early. For what? The final, definitely! It's the only one that I'd watched. Firstly, needed to say, 44 years later, Spanish got the champion again. So, CONGRATULATIONS! However, my another favourite team, Germany lost this game, just got the second place. I was a little bit sad, sad for them. I saw players' faces, their sad and disappointed mood was on their faces.

The EURO 2008 was held in two countries, Switzerland and Austria. But this final was held in Vienna Austria. This stadium was large and beautiful. It's covered by two main colours, white, which stood for Germany, and red stood for Spain. Those were the colour of their uniforms.

The whole competition has just got only one goal, which was goaled by Spanish No. 9 Torres, who was a Liverpool striker. Just this golden goal, it brought a championship for this young team. As could be know, Spain used to be a team that always had a good performance in the Qualifier competitions, but there was stopped at the quarter, semi final or final, some times, they were lost in the group stage. For instance, they couldn't survive in the group matches in EURO 2004. In addition, they were lost by Korea (their winning depended on the judger) in 2002 World Cup.

However, this time, they finally has achieved it, now they could say that they were the real winners. Before the game, their head coach Aragones was doubted by the media and soccer fans, because he gave up to work off Raul to come into the national team, Raul was a very excellent player and was full of experience. After the final, the truth showed that he was right. Most of footballers of this team were only about 20, it's a young team. Just those young footballer, they were not afraid the strong Germany, they were so relax, and the main point was that they hasn't got pressure.

Compared with Spain, German's show was not good enough. Their spiritual leader Ballack, who didn't show his real level due to his injury and his eye. Furthermore, his mood was not stable, a bit anxious. Same situation as their No. 7 Schweinsteiger, he was also lack of real level, he couldn't help partners and give some good and threatened goal in mid field. Besides, their defence was not very good too, Philipp Lahm, just his a tiny mistake, made Spanish won this game.

Spanish depended on their amazing skills, relax mood and solidarity to get this champion. Hope Spain could have a good result in 2010 South Africa World Cup. Good luck to them. After EURO 2008, some older footballers would say good to this green field, such as the goal keeper of Germany, Lehmann, the Capitan Ballack.

I must say some thing about Ballack. He was a great player in both club and national team. He has got many champion titles, such as the league champion. But he has never had an international important events' champion, the second place only. The second place was in 2002 world cup lost by Brazil. The third place was in 2006 would cup and the second place was in this EURO 2008. I didn't know whether he was still in national team or not, anyway, he' a really good mid field player. Good luck to him.

EURO 2008 was over. Some people would be happy and there must be some body sad. It doesn't matter, you were all heroes, because you gave us, the fans lots of wonderful competitions. With the triumphal ceremony, this EURO came to an end. Lets look forward to the next EURO. See you 4 years later.

Long time no see and post on this blog, because no one post after Toular's homework, how sad! I really hope all classmates can continue it, it's like a clue that we can know what's going on each other. However, no one post it any more. Here I am, I wish every body happy new year, wish you dreams came true. Please keep posting, only few sentences should be fine, like me, I just post few sentences.

The new year firework is wonderful and unforgettable, I went to circular quay with classmates, I had a great time with them, it's the first time I went there and saw firework. Let me show a pic to you.

Coming back!

I came back yesterday, to be honest, I really really didn't wanna come back, cos at home was really rally really comfortable. This holiday is really good, I ate lots of yummy food, I will miss them everyday, I tool lots of pics of these delicious food, let me show you my favourite spicy food.
Trust me, the second is hotter than the first one. But, for me I ate the spicy food as same as normal one, I felt good. Some people really can't accept spicy food, I am lucky that I can enjoy these yummy food.

Critique of A Blog

I have chosen a blog that had been created by a journalist, which the content is about the Iraqi war. I am going to introduce this special blog, because this blog is about politics, it's the real voice from that eventful place. it can be linked here:http://riverbendblog.blogspot.com/ , I knew this blog from class Communication Environment 3.

Obviously, Internet is a good place to express people's opinions, whatever they want to say. So, for journalists, blog is a new format to speak their political ideas. The author of this blog is a female journalist, who is living in Iraq, so the name of her blog is call Baghdad Burning.
According to the critiques, the content of her blog is the most important thing. She had posted in 2003, all posts of her blog are about Iraq, which is a country fighting with the United States and have a lot of disease. Her blog is like a dairy format, it recorded all her pieces of her life. For instance, there is a post called Leaving Home, which recorded every pieces of life before she left home, for instance, how she picked up her stuff. In addition, her analysis of war affairs was in details and she often gives some her opinions, which could reflect her real ideas. For example, her description of how they cross the Iraq boarder, she described both their facial emotion, and in her heart she was so nervous, so that she did not see those soldiers. Every detail was described very clearly. Another post of her is called The rape of Sabrina, which was exploring some things that are hidden. There is an Iraqi girl who was raped by security forces. Actually those people who are to against US president. After raping, this raped girl became the bravest girl in Iraq, because she used her real name to tell her story, however, this girl thought that it was her shame, when she told her story, she covered her face. From her j-blog, it can be seen clearly that online audiences can read a blog with real political ideas and they will know more truth that sometimes will be hidden. Meanwhile, her j-blog is not influenced by the gatekeeping theory too much; she can free to publish her political points. Furthermore from her blog, readers can link other media's websites, such as BBC news, NY times, etc.

In conclusion, I like this blog so much, I an also touched by this blog, I thought that as a girl, she was living and working in a eventful place, it means she is so brave, every body knows that Iraq is not a safety place to stay, but she knows she is a journalist, and her responsibility is to report the real story to public and make readers know the truth. This girl spoke their real point of views of politics, she brought our to reality, and made me know lots more stories that we couldn't know from the mainstream media.

Last Post?

No, this won't be my last post, although this semester will come to an end. From this May, I started my first English blog on My Space, which is also my first blog, before I'd never had a blog, even Chinese one. Why did I decide to create a blog? Because once, a friend of mine asked me, have you got a blog, cos I want to have a look. I answered, sorry I haven't got one. After that, I decided to create one. Now, the e-blog is my second blog, but this one is like homework, hahaha.... I still pay more attention to it.

I don't think this is my last blog on this blog, cos this is the only one blog that share with all my dear classmates, this blog is like a "clue", I can contact with them, may be someday, we seperate, we can see each other's blog and have a look what's going on. So, I hope all classmates keep posting. Now, I am listening to What's going on while posting.

This morning was a peak hour for us, cos last night most of us didn't sleep. The main reason was we haven't finished the last big essay, which was 2000 words, wow... this was our first time to wrte many words. Most of us finished this essay at this morning, I finished at 4.00am. Actually, last night, suddenly, one opera song appeared in my mind, Messun Dorma! Yes, this one, I think it's sooooooooooo suiting our situation, so on my MSN mood box, I typed it! In opera Turandot, the princess can't fall asleep for some reasons, however, we can't sleep because of essay, hahaha...

Last week of this semester!

This week is week 13, which is the last week of this semester. It means, after this week, the holiday will be coming. For us, it means we will be far away from assignment temporarily. For myself, I will be going home on Saturday morning. What a wonderful thing!!! I think this semester is better, cos we tried some new areas of Communication, the most interesting thing is the podcast, cos although I've got an iPod, actually I didn't know what podcast is and didn't know how to listen to podcast. However, in class COMM315, I understood podcast and learnt some theory of sound, actually, I thought sound is really wonderful. I knew the highest and lowest sound that human beings can hear, from 20 to 20khz. I also learnt how to make a podcast in Garage band, it's soooooooo interesting, I wish I had a Mac and do it at any time, haha.

Another interesting thing should be the film making in class COMM 31 6. This is my first time to operate a video camera, before I thought it's difficult to use and it's so magic, but when I studied the professional words and knew the basic knowledge, any difficulties disappeared, cos I thought it's not difficult. Our group took a five minutes about Magic Power, this experience is very important for me and it's unforgettable. Like Julia saying, studying Communication can have lots of fun, I must admit.

Now, at the moment, I haven't yet finished an assignment about blogger and politics, which is so boring, but I have to do it, I think my motivation is going home, so I will overcome any troubles. Only one more week, I can go home, I am soooooooooo happy, I will my parents and friends so much, I often dream them. Next Sunday, I will arrive at my lovely home, suddenly, I remembered one movie called Sweet Home Alabama, I think this move can reflect my emotion.
